Youth Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children at preschools, child care centers, elementary schools and local parks. We are expanding and need enthusiastic coaches to help us run sessions in New Castle County.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30 - 60 minute sessions at preschools, child care centers, elementary schools and local parks.
• Engage with children through positive affirmation.
• Plan and maintain appropriate order for the age group.
• Bring Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere.
• Follow the lesson plan provided by Soccer Shots.

Requirements

• Safety-conscious - prioritizing the safety of children under your care.
• Caring - engaging with each child through positive affirmation.
• Organized - planning ahead and maintaining a systematic routine.
• Responsible - committed to doing what is expected of you as the coach.
• Energetic - bringing excitement and joy to the children.

Qualifications

• Soccer experience is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with the game as a player or coach is helpful.
• A background in elementary education or early childhood education is a great fit.
