Youth Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Run after-school soccer sessions on weekday afternoons between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
• Coach as little as one location per week or up to each weekday.
• Follow a consistent schedule for each season (fall, winter, spring, summer).
• Each session is 30 - 60 minutes long, varying based on age and location.
• Provide all necessary training, equipment, and curriculum materials.
• Compensation is $25 for each session coached.

Requirements

• Safety-conscious - prioritizing the safety of children under their care.
• Caring - engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
• Organized - planning ahead and maintaining appropriate order for the age group.
• Responsible - committed to fulfilling their role as the coach and representing Soccer Shots positively.
• Energetic - bringing life to Soccer Shots by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere.

What We Look For

• Soccer experience is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with the game either as a player or coach is helpful.
• A background in elementary education or early childhood education is a great fit.
