Youth Soccer Coach - All throughout Queens NY

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child and family we serve.

Looking for part-time work where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Soccer Shots Coach! We are seeking dependable coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. You’ll laugh, you’ll break a sweat, and you’ll go home knowing that you made a difference. Coaching children will be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever do.

10 hours guaranteed per week in season.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–45 minute soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years old
• Deliver an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes
• Maintain a reliable and consistent coaching schedule within a structured 8–12-week seasonal schedule

Requirements

• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle OR reliable transportation (travel required between sites)
• Prior soccer experience is not required, however experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred
• Punctual, consistent, responsible, and organized
• High energy, silly, and goofy personality with the ability to engage children
• Patience, kindness, and adaptability
• Goal-oriented with high standards

Schedule

Coaches should be available during the following timeframes for the upcoming Summer and Fall Seasons:

• Weekday mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekday afternoons: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

These are not set shifts but the time windows in which sessions are scheduled. Schedules are assigned and remain consistent weekly throughout the season.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM

Pay

$20–30/hour
