Youth Soccer Coach - All throughout Queens NY

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child and family we serve.

We are seeking dependable coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. You’ll laugh, you’ll break a sweat, and you’ll go home knowing that you made a difference. Coaching children will be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever do.

This role guarantees 10 hours per week during the season.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years
• Deliver a structured curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes
• Maintain a consistent weekly schedule throughout the season

Requirements

• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through sports and fitness
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle OR reliable transportation (travel required between sites)
• Prior soccer experience is not required, but experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred

Schedule

Coaches should be available during the following timeframes for the Summer and Fall seasons:

• Weekday mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekday afternoons: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

These are not fixed shifts but the windows in which sessions are scheduled. Schedules are assigned weekly and remain consistent throughout the season.

Hours of operation:

• Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM
