Youth Soccer Coach - All throughout Queens NY
Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child and family we serve.
About the role
Looking for part-time work where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Soccer Shots Coach! We are seeking dependable coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. You’ll laugh, you’ll break a sweat, and you’ll go home knowing that you made a difference. Coaching children will be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever do.
This role guarantees 10 hours per week during the season.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years
- Deliver a structured curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes
- Maintain a consistent weekly schedule throughout the season
Requirements
- Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through sports and fitness
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle OR reliable transportation (travel required between sites)
- Prior soccer experience is not required, but experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred
Schedule
Coaches should be available during the following timeframes for the Summer and Fall seasons:
- Weekday mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Weekday afternoons: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
These are not fixed shifts but the windows in which sessions are scheduled. Schedules are assigned weekly and remain consistent throughout the season.
Hours of operation:
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM
