The organization is expanding to include basketball as part of its multi‑sport offerings.

Role Overview

As a part‑time Youth Soccer & Basketball Coach, you will lead 30‑minute sessions for children ages 2–8 throughout Alexandria/Arlington and surrounding areas. The role is primarily soccer‑focused, with opportunities to coach and support the growing basketball program.

• Deliver high‑energy, age‑appropriate soccer sessions.
• Assist with basketball program activities as needed.
• Engage children with a fun, supportive, and energetic coaching style.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Compensation

• Weekday rate: $20 per hour
• Weekend rate: $25 per hour
• Bonus opportunities each season (four times per year)
• Potential pay raise after two seasons

Schedule

Hours of Operation:

• Monday‑Friday: 8:45 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday‑Sunday: 8:45 am – 12:45 pm

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passion for working with children and positively impacting their lives through sports and fitness
• Responsible, organized, and high‑energy personality; able to be “silly” and goofy when appropriate
• Initiative‑taking, goal‑oriented, and adaptable
• Patience and high standards
• Prior soccer or basketball experience not required; experience with children ages 2–8 preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check
