About the role
The Facilities Representative at The Bakken Museum is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the museum's facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and welcoming to visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas within the museum
- Ensure proper operation of all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in facility management or maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with building systems and maintenance tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights
