Youth Mentor Part Time

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and helpful Youth Mentor to work one-on-one with our Recipients in their homes. You will support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities, as well as bring them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment. ExpertCare serves Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to Recipients in their homes
• Assist with skill-building activities
• Encourage and support personal goal development
• Facilitate community integration and engagement

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
