Youth Golf Instructor

About the role

TGA Premier Sports combines athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging youth programs. We incorporate station-based athletic skill development activities and STEAM subjects to explore educational concepts through sports. TGA operates youth golf programs through after-school enrichment programs at schools, community, and recreation centers, as well as leagues, camps, and family events. We work with ages 3 to 14, providing lessons and fitness activities year-round. TGA provides the equipment and lesson plans—all you need is a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of kids!

This is a part-time position that could lead to full-time if you are interested. Hours vary each day but range from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility to create a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Lead station-based athletic skill development activities and STEAM-focused sports programs for youth.
• Engage children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate sports activities.
• Travel to various locations, including schools, community centers, and recreation centers, within the specified communities.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Work independently while adhering to provided lesson plans and equipment guidelines.

Requirements

• An upbeat, fun attitude and enjoyment of playing sports.
• Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Upper St. Clair, Peters Twp., Bethel Park, South Park, Collier Twp., Warrendale, Cranberry, Hampton Twp., and Fox Chapel.
• Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting as required by state regulations.
• Must be prompt, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Experience playing sports and/or coaching children.
• Evening and weekend availability.

Pay

$15 - $25 per hour.
