Qualifications
- Applicant must be 21 years of age
- Pass an OSBI and DHS criminal background investigation
- Not be listed in any Registry of Sexual offenders
- Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission and spirit of Pivot
- Comply with confidentiality/privacy standards required by agency and law
- Show compassion, respect and Trauma Informed Care to all Pivot clients, consumers and Pivot staff
- Display team skills and respect the diversity and differences of others
- Show professional conduct and appearance
- Have a basic understanding of adolescent development and behaviors
- Enjoy and be able to relate to at-risk youth and exhibit empathy with the joys and pains of others
- Be self-motivated, have initiative, sound judgment, and commit to ongoing learning
- Be dependable and able to report to work in a timely manner and work a flexible schedule outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays
- Be approachable, build rapport well, and practice attentive and active listening
- Support equal and fair treatment and opportunity for all
- Understand and comply with all Agency policies and procedures, including Child Protection Policies
- Have a minimum high school diploma or a GED certificate, a Bachelor’s degree or further education in Social Work, Human Services, or Psychology preferred
- Read, understand, analyze and interpret general periodicals, professional journals and government regulations
- Write reports, business correspondence, and maintain accurate statistical data
- Present information and respond to questions from clients, consumers, employees, management and general public
- Perform basic high school mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions and decimals, percentage, rates and averages)
- Interpret graphs and statistical data
- Basic data entry and typing, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Requirements
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Possess and produce a valid Oklahoma Drivers License and current vehicle insurance verification
- Be current and or willing to become certified in CPR, First Aid and Agency Health and Safety procedures
