About the role
The Youth Education and Food Security Program Coordinator VISTA will strengthen organizational capacity by researching and designing youth homework and food pantry models.
Responsibilities
- Research tutoring and food security organizations to determine best practices, framework
- Create food pantry use guidelines, sign-in sheets or forms
- Create a follow-up system and framework to ensure beneficiaries have wrap around services
- Develop a resource guide for beneficiaries
- Develop a Culture for Change class guide
- Create volunteer handbook, training materials, position descriptions
- Set homework program schedule
- Develop youth homework and program survey, review and adjust program as needed
- Observe volunteer shifts and adjust training and resources as needed
- Create volunteer training, handbook, resources
Requirements
