About the role

Damar is seeking passionate individuals to join our mission-driven team as Direct Support Technicians. This role involves caring for clients, managing crises, promoting social behaviors, and supporting clients' potential.

Responsibilities

• Client supervision and care
• Crisis management
• Promoting appropriate social behaviors
• Supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential
• Work on Children's Residential campus or Adult Group Homes
• Day Shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm w/ rotating weekends)
• Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am w/ rotating weekends)
• Weekend (7:00 am - 11:00 pm / Sat & Sun)

Requirements

• At least 21 to work in Children's Residential program
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record meeting Damar’s insurance carrier requirements
• Clear of felony convictions and substantiated charges of neglect
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening

Qualifications

• Formal proof of a high school diploma or GED

• Conduct and supervision of recreational and life enrichment activities
• Completion of required documentation daily
