Youth Development Professional (West Palm Beach/Boys/Overnight)

About the Role

The Youth Development Professional is responsible for the direct care and supervision of children in the Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program. This position ensures consistency and continuity of care by adhering to the established daily schedule of activities, implementing the behavior management system, maintaining open communication with co-workers and administrators, and completing all necessary documentation.

Schedule

Friday–Monday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide children while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Provide transportation, prepare meals, administer medications, and complete daily shift duties.
• Implement behavior management strategies and support treatment goals.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate program records.
• Collaborate with co-workers and treatment team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations and follow approved intervention procedures.
• Safely participate in physical restraints when required.
