Youth Development Manager, Alpha - $150,000/year USD
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for elementary and middle school cohorts (K-8)
- Executing Alpha's established playbook without deviation
- Conducting targeted motivation interventions leveraging student data and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% goal attainment
- Developing Guides in program consistency and standards maintenance, ensuring each coaching interaction yields concrete performance enhancements
- Managing your own cohort of students while simultaneously advancing Guide capabilities
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide effectiveness indicators weekly to identify declining performance before escalation
Basic Requirements
- Available for on-campus work in Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or equivalent field
- Demonstrated history leading teams of 5+ adults, including recruitment and performance-based dismissal experience
- Hands-on experience with children ages 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts
- Created, initiated, or substantially scaled a program, team, business, school, or initiative from inception
- Documented practice of utilizing data and metrics for weekly goal-setting and decision-making, beyond passive reporting
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline
- Experience coaching athletics, leading outdoor or experiential programs, managing camps, or directing youth ministry at scales requiring cohort management and outcome measurement
- Transitioned from classroom teaching to program development or operational leadership roles: EdTech, tutoring enterprises, youth-focused nonprofits, or school support systems
- Early-career pattern of exceptional individual achievement — academic, athletic, or professional — prior to leadership transition
- Conviction that existing education structures fail students and personal commitment to systemic reconstruction

Contact Information
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
