About the role

Part Time Instructors for Community Education Life Enrichment courses focusing on academics, culinary arts, fitness & wellness, performing arts, STEM science, STEM technology, STEM engineering, STEM math, and visual arts for Youth.

Responsibilities

• Teach academic, culinary arts, fitness & wellness, performing arts, STEM science, STEM technology, STEM engineering, STEM math, and visual arts courses for Youth.
• Have an expert knowledge of and practical experience in the subject areas.
• Complete all forms and documentation related to the course.
• Successfully complete a criminal background investigation including fingerprinting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Academic degrees or professional credentials in a related discipline.
• Subject matter expert in the proposed course area.
• Computer proficiency based on course needs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience working with a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge and practical experience in the subject area.
• Ability to teach and work with children aged 6-17.
• Pass a criminal background investigation including fingerprinting.
