About the role
We are looking for a part-time Youth Community Coordinator to work on service goals with and for at-risk or displaced youth up to 17 years old. This role acts as a liaison between foster parents, staff, and the community team, providing a safe environment while implementing behavioral and permanency goals.
Work is conducted in the office in Vancouver, WA and up to 75 miles away in community and home settings when supporting staff; work directly with youth may be provided.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules and other administrative tasks
- Lead and train other staff
- Provide crisis support
- Work both collaboratively and independently
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience working directly with youth or 2 years of social services education
- Clear criminal history and pass a background check
- Currently have or obtain within 30 days of being hired: CPR/First Aid license (paid by employer)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance
- TB Test within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (paid by employer)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
