Youth Caregiver- Part Time

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Caregivers to work 1:1 with our Recipients. You will be working in their homes while supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill-building activities. You will also be taking them into the community to help achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and encouraging Recipients in their daily lives
• Helping Recipients build new skills and confidence
• Encouraging Recipients to participate in community activities
• Adapting to each Recipient's unique needs and abilities
• Ensuring Recipients feel safe and comfortable at all times

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Able to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
