Youth Care Specialist Part-time weekends

About the role

Abraxas I in Marienville, PA is seeking a Part‑Time Youth Care Specialist to work weekends only. With over 50 years of experience providing high‑quality services, the organization promotes independence, confidence, dignity, respect, inclusion, and personal choice. In this role you will provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to youth while serving as a positive role model in a therapeutic, structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, leadership, and support to youth in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.
• Serve as a positive and professional role model.
• Implement daily schedules and coordinate structured activities, recreation, Family Night, and other programming.
• Facilitate and document psychoeducational groups using established curricula.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting scheduled and random headcounts and monitoring youth activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully complete required physical and pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to successfully complete required federal and state background checks.
• Ability to work additional hours as required.
• No experience required for many positions; paid training provided.

Pay

$30.00 per hour. DailyPay available.

Schedule

Part‑time, weekends only (Friday–Sunday evenings).
