Youth & Adult Tennis Instructor

About the role

Our sports coaches teach the fundamentals of sports, with a progression of skills, drills, and gameplay throughout the season or program. Ensure that all players understand they are safe, valued, supported, and connected to the team, regardless of any differences they may have. Give all players a love of the game that will spark an interest lasting a lifetime.

Employment Dates: Fall 2026 season runs 08/10/2026 - 10/04/2026. There is potential to stay on staff for the following season, depending on performance.

Schedule

Hours available: Monday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm & Saturday - Sunday 9:00 am - 2:15 pm. The number of participants in each sport determines the final schedule and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants
• Supervise players during practices, games, and transitions
• Communicate clearly and professionally with players, parents/guardians, and staff
• Arrive on time and prepare for all scheduled activities

Requirements

• Be able to provide a fun and positive recreational sports experience encompassing a "Love of the Game" philosophy
• Have passion and/or experience in working with youth
• Organizational skills to effectively email and communicate with players, parents, co-workers, the Coordinator, and the Supervisor
