About the Role

At Atrium Health, Medical Assistants are more than a vital part of the care team—they are the welcoming faces, steady hands, and trusted support that help patients feel cared for from the moment they arrive. Apply increased knowledge and experience to support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistant IIs must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain it

Pay

Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35. Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Incentive pay for select positions. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Schedule

Hours Per Week: 40. Status: Benefits Eligible Yes.
