Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one peer recovery coaching and on-site support to young adults residing in recovery residences, using lived experience and recovery-oriented practices.
- Build trusting, supportive relationships that promote self-efficacy, accountability, and individualized pathways to recovery.
- Aid participants in identifying strengths, needs, and goals, and support the development and progression of individualized recovery plans.
- Support participants in developing life skills, social connections, and healthy routines that enhance housing stability and overall wellness.
- Connect participants to community-based resources, including employment, education, treatment, healthcare, and social supports.
- Collaborate with recovery residence staff and THRIVE team members to ensure coordinated, participant-centered care and communication.
- Assist the Young Adult Residences Supervisor in the delivery of community-based workshops, recovery supports, and recovery-friendly social activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant contacts, services provided, referrals, and outcomes in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Participate in supervision, trainings, team meetings, and professional development to strengthen recovery coaching skills and program quality.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or Provisional (CRPA-P) credential licensure is required.
- Knowledge of recovery principles, peer support best practices, and community resources is necessary.
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- A valid and clean driver's license is required.
