Yoga & Mat Pilates Instructor

About the role

The Group Fitness Instructor position supports the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role delivers exceptional service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responsibilities include responding to member and guest needs, promoting memberships and programs, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor, and instructing group fitness classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels.
• Respond to member and guest needs, promoting memberships and programs.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching yoga and mat Pilates is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.
