Responsibilities

• Plan and lead group fitness classes, including but not limited to aerobics, strength training, yoga, or other exercise modalities.
• Provide clear and effective instruction, ensuring exercises are performed correctly and safely.
• Develop and implement fitness programs tailored to various fitness levels and health conditions.
• Adapt exercises and class content based on the specific needs and goals of participants.
• Create a positive and motivating class environment to encourage participant engagement and adherence.
• Offer modifications and alternatives to accommodate participants with different fitness levels or physical limitations.

Qualifications

• Essential Functions: Active Group Fitness or personal training certification from an approved provider that will be relevant to the class being taught.
• Experience: Experience in group fitness instruction.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Strong knowledge of fitness techniques and principles. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Ability to adapt exercises for diverse populations, including individuals with specific health conditions. Basic understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Pay Range
