About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring for a variety of flexible part-time and seasonal positions. Schedules are designed to accommodate students, teachers, retirees, and anyone needing to balance work with other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist phone, catering, in-store lunch, and retail customers with excellent service.
  • Respond positively to customer requests or comments.
  • Assist with food preparation, including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey.
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge and effectively articulate product features and benefits.
  • Drive add-on sales through suggestion selling.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
  • Take initiative and remain productive throughout the shift, taking responsibility for activities within his/her control.
  • Follow all processes and procedures and comply with company standards in all areas, from service to food preparation and control.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bring relevant experience from restaurants, retail, customer service, grocery, or hotels.

Qualifications

Physical dexterity and mobility are necessary to perform the job's demands, including working with hot torches. Bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies may be required. Ham production associates may be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

Pay

Year-round associate pay ranges from the state minimum wage to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

HoneyBaked stores are open Monday - Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are closed on Sunday.
