About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring for a variety of part-time and seasonal positions. Schedules are designed to accommodate students, teachers, retirees, and anyone seeking additional income while balancing other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in answering phones, catering inquiries, in-store lunch orders, and retail ham and turkey sales.
  • Prepare food items such as lunch, catering, and retail hams and turkeys.
  • Showcase product knowledge and effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Drive upselling opportunities through suggestion selling.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized store environment.
  • Be proactive and remain productive throughout the shift.
  • Comply with all company processes and adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior customer service or food preparation experience is preferred.
  • Experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate is a plus.

Qualifications

Physical requirements include dexterity and mobility to perform tasks that may involve working with hot torches, bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies. Ham production associates may be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

Pay

Year-round associate pay ranges from the state minimum wage to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are closed on Sunday.
