About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring for a variety of flexible part-time and seasonal positions. Schedules are designed to accommodate students, teachers, retirees, and anyone needing to work around school, family, or other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in answering phones, catering, in-store lunch, and retail ham and turkey inquiries.
  • Prepare food items, including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey.
  • Showcase superior product knowledge and effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Drive add-on sales through suggestion selling.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
  • Take initiative and remain productive throughout the shift, taking responsibility for activities within their control.
  • Comply with all processes and procedures, adhering to company standards in service, food preparation, and control.
  • Follow safety, security, and respectful workplace policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred.
  • Experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate is a plus.

Qualifications

Physical dexterity and mobility are necessary for performing the job's demands, which may include working with hot torches. Bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies are required. Ham production associates may be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

Pay

The Year Round Associate pay range is from the state minimum wage to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

HoneyBaked stores are open Monday - Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are closed on Sunday.
