Year Round Associate - California Stores

About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring for a variety of flexible part-time and seasonal positions. Schedules are designed to accommodate students, teachers, retirees, and anyone needing to work around school, family, or other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Aid in answering phones, catering, in-store lunch, and retail ham and turkey inquiries.
• Prepare food items, including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey.
• Provide superior product knowledge and effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Drive sales through suggestion selling.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized store environment.
• Follow all company processes and procedures, adhering to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies.
• Communicate effectively and maintain attention to detail.
• Bring relevant experience from restaurants, retail, customer service, grocery, or hotel settings.

Requirements

Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Prior customer service or food preparation experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

Physical dexterity and mobility are necessary, including the ability to bend, stoop, stand for long periods, twist, and lift products and supplies. Ham production associates may be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

Pay and Schedule

Year-round associate pay ranges from the state minimum wage to $18 per hour, depending on experience. Schedules are flexible, with stores open Monday-Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and closed on Sunday.
