About the role
HoneyBaked is hiring for a part-time or seasonal position. Schedules are designed to fit around school, family, and other commitments. Stores are open Monday-Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with Sunday off.
Responsibilities
- Aid in answering phones, catering, in-store lunch, and retail ham and turkey inquiries.
- Prepare food items, including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey.
- Provide superior product knowledge and suggest additional sales.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized store.
- Be proactive and productive during shifts, taking responsibility for tasks within one's control.
- Follow all company processes and adhere to safety, security, and respectful workplace policies.
Requirements
- Good communication and attention to detail.
- Prior customer service or food preparation experience is preferred.
- Experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate is a plus.
Qualifications
Physical dexterity and mobility are necessary, including bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products and supplies. Ham production associates may need to lift up to 65 pounds.
