About the role

HoneyBaked is hiring for part-time, seasonal, or new gig opportunities. Schedules are designed to fit students, teachers, retirees, and anyone needing flexible hours around school, family, or other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist phone, catering, in-store lunch, and retail customers with excellent service.
  • Respond positively to customer requests or comments.
  • Help prepare food, including lunch, catering, and retail ham and turkey.
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge and suggest additional items.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
  • Take initiative and remain productive throughout the shift, taking responsibility for activities within their control.
  • Follow all processes and procedures, adhering to company standards in service, food preparation, and control.
  • Comply with safety, security, and respectful workplace policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred.
  • Experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate, or store associate is a big plus!

Qualifications

  • Physical dexterity and mobility to perform the demands of the job, including working with hot torches.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand for long periods, twist, and lift products and supplies.
  • Ham production associates may be required to lift up to 65 pounds.

Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Product knowledge and ability to suggest additional items.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer service or food preparation experience.

Pay

The Year Round Associate pay range is from the state minimum wage to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

We are open Monday - Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are closed on Sunday.
