Year 2 Teacher, ACADEMICS

Role Details

We are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher role starting in September 2026. This is a full-time position at a Good OFSTED-rated primary school in Westminster with a 2-form entry.

Requirements

• Qualified Year 2 Primary Class Teacher with QTS
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, particularly in reading, writing and mathematics
• Proven experience managing behaviour and creating a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment
• Experience supporting pupils with varying needs, including those who may present behavioural challenges

Qualifications

• Strong KS1 knowledge and confidence in delivering high-quality teaching across the curriculum
• Ability to establish clear expectations, build positive relationships and deliver engaging lessons that support progress for all learners
• Experience taking on additional responsibilities, depending on experience and interest
