Tague Lumber is seeking a dependable, hands-on Yardman to join our Doylestown team. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with loading and unloading materials
• Operate equipment such as forklifts safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Support general yard and warehouse operations as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or team-based environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Familiarity with building materials preferred
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects (60–100 lbs) on a regular basis and climb ladders or stairs
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Work Environment

This position is based in an active warehouse and outdoor yard setting. The role involves frequent physical activity including lifting (including overhead), walking, bending, standing, and carrying materials. Employees should be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

• Banding equipment (used to wrap banding around building materials, wrap, tighten and then push down to secure banding)
