About the role

Tague Lumber is seeking a dependable, hands-on Yardman to join our Media team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and providing excellent service to customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. At Tague Lumber, we take pride in safety, organization, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assisting with loading and unloading materials
• Operating equipment such as forklifts safely and effectively
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving
• Packaging finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Following all company policies and safety procedures
• Supporting general yard and warehouse operations as needed

Requirements

We’re looking for a reliable team player with a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or team-based environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Familiarity with building materials preferred
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects 60-100 lbs on a regular basis and climb ladders or stairs to perform duties of the position

Skills

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
