Yard/Warehouse Team Member - Halls

Responsibilities

• Drive Operations: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize building materials across the yard and warehouse.
• Support Customers & Crews: Assist builders and walk-in customers with fast, accurate material pickups and order loading.
• Ensure Quality & Accuracy: Double-check delivery orders for complete accuracy and assist with processing returned inventory.
• Maintain Safety & Standards: Keep the yard clean, organized, and secure while completing daily equipment pre-operation safety checks.
• Team Collaboration: Work directly with supervisors and yard crews to keep daily operations moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Hands-on forklift operating experience in a lumberyard, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50–100 lbs repeatedly, using proper lifting techniques.
• Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills to process orders and complete daily logs.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills and an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screening.

Pay

$16.00/hour to start with reliable weekly pay.
