The Yard Technician maintains the cleanliness of the yard and keeps rental equipment organized to minimize customer wait time. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out, and provides basic operational knowledge. Essential Functions Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washerEnsure proper PPE is worn while working in the yardAssist with loading and unloading equipmentProvide customers with basic training as neededFuel and meter equipment upon check-inRecord fuel logs and required operational informationStage equipment for deliveriesMaintain proper yard organizationMaintain cleanliness and safety of the yardEnsure all rental equipment is properly tagged and includes required keysPerform small deliveries and pickups to client sites or retailers using a pickup truck as needed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GEDStrong organizational and communication skillsCustomer service orientedValid state-issued Driver’s LicenseAbility to work independently with minimal supervision Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.
