Yard Technician - Redmond, OR

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in a construction yard setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain yard equipment including tractors, loaders, and other machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and operational before use.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and hydraulic components.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating various types of yard equipment.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
