Primary Responsibilities
- Operate Tractor-Trailer and/or straight truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate a Yard Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform yard checks.
- Spot trailers in the yard.
- Unload trailers.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years prior experience of driving experience.
- Certified Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be highly motivated self-starter and be able to work independently.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Need to be able to adapt to changing conditions.
- Have ability to listen to and follow directions.
- Must be able to follow established procedures.
- Must have a good attendance and tardy record.
- Must be able to communicate in English both written and orally.
- Must have a valid CDL license and good driving record.
- Must have the ability to work in all types of outside weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Subject to cooler and freezer temperatures.
- Subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
- Exposed to outside weather conditions.
