YARD SCALE 1st and 3rd shift

About the role

The Production Clerk Yard Scaler works as the Supervisor's right-hand person, managing cattle processing, data entry, and inventory while coordinating with multiple departments. This position is available on 1st shift (6am–2:00pm) or 3rd shift (9pm–5:30am).

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming cattle paperwork
• Run the scale in the barn
• Complete the cattle tickets
• Set up the Harvest line up
• Communicate line up of cattle to personnel
• Organize the truckers, pin and scale tickets
• Work closely with the accounting team
• Handle inquiries on bleed rail check and balance system
• Maintain live cattle and barn inventories
• Perform data entry
• Ensure cattle are in correct lots
• Maintain good working relationships with the Union, USDA, and Maintenance employees
