Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the pickup of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Key duties include preparing and organizing will-call orders, verifying order details against invoices, assisting customers with locating and loading materials, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. The role also involves communicating with sales staff and customers to resolve discrepancies or address special requests. Responsibilities: Primarily to perform customer service tasks filling orders of "walk-in" customersEngage and build professional relationships, providing excellent customer serviceProactively assist customers with loading and unloading of materials purchasedMaintain yard, product and work areas in a neat, clean and safe mannerMaintain fundamental product knowledge & location throughout the yardEnsure products and materials are well stocked of inventory at all timesKeeps management aware of any delays or discrepanciesReviews materials loaded against invoice or requisition; completes and routes paperwork appropriately Requirements Ability to read and interpret orders and invoicesAbility to read and comprehend simple instructionsAbility to multi-task in fast paced environmentExperience working in a team atmosphereAbility to lift 75-100 pounds consistentlyMust take and pass drug test and consent to a background checkKnowledge of dimension lumber and panel products and other building materials is preferredExperience operating radial arm saw, cut-off saw, chain saw and forklift is preferred Benefits MedicalDentalVisionLife insurance401KPaid time off including vacation, holiday, and sick leave.
