Yard Pipe Superintendent

About the role

Lead daily self-perform yard piping operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Supervise crews installing underground and above-ground process piping, utility piping, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules to maintain production goals.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues.
• Mentor and develop field crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Negotiate and purchase materials.
• Maintain as-built documents.
• Act as owner and architect/engineer contact.
• Verify and provide inventory analysis.
• Survey construction job site.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience.
• 5+ years of underground utility, process piping, or heavy civil construction experience with leadership experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience leading self-perform yard piping or underground utility crews.
• Water/wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings, utility layouts, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, with willingness to travel as needed.

Pay

Salary Range: $125K - $160K
