About the Role

The full-time Yard Associate will act as a material handler and forklift operator, building loads for deliveries while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for delivery and unload freight, including lumber and building supplies
• Operate forklifts (training and certification provided)
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management
• Maintain lumber yard and warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information one-on-one
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay

$17–$19/hour plus weekly overtime.
