What You'll Do
- Responsible for the proper operations and maintenance of the street sweeper and water truck
- Ability to coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractor and CMC maintenance department
- Ability to operate additional mobile equipment such as skid steer, forklift, etc
- Waste management (container management, manifesting, waste disposal and shipment coordination)
- Support with routine environmental inspections and record keeping not limited to Visual Emissions Evaluations (VEE) and waste inspections
- Support environmental sampling, sample preparation, and sample shipment management
- Communicate performance and maintenance related issues to facility personnel
- Provide day to day environmental compliance observations for designated facilities under the direction of the Area Environmental Manager
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Area Environmental Manager
What You'll Need
- 1 – 3 years related experience in mobile equipment operation
- Steel industry experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain US EPA Method 9 Certification (Visible Emissions Certification), MCAQD Rule 316 basic certification, and RCRA and DOT certification

High School Diploma or GED required
