Yard Operations Associate

About the role

We are hiring immediately for a Yard Operations Associate. We will teach you about distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies from around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient operations of one or multiple yards which may include operating equipment, loading, and unloading product
• Execute standard receiving and shipping processes
• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators
• Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials
• Inspect all equipment used daily
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery
• Operate heavy equipment

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred
• Forklift experience
• Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience preferred

Skills

• Strong attention to detail required
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Ability to walk long distances throughout the day

Pay

$17.22 – $20.66 per hour. Offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

Schedule

Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
