Yard Loader Operator

Summary

The Ewing Yard Loader Operator supports the Yard Manager in yard duties, including loading trucks with materials, ensuring yard cleanliness, and supporting company goals.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTIBILITIES

• Support Yard Managers by performing yard operations tasks and activities.
• Provide customer support as needed.
• Complete tasks and activities assigned in support of annual plans.

Requirements

• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Able to lift 50-70 lbs.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Perform in fast-paced environments.
• Valid professional driver's license.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Ability to operate loaders and tractors in various weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate).
• Proven work experience as a Yard Customer Service Associate, Landscape Materials Associate, or similar role.
• Knowledge of landscape yard inventory stocking procedures.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination (a plus).
