Yard Jockey - CDL A - Enfield, CT

Position Responsibilities

• Load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process.
• Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and placed in designated areas for drivers.
• Ensure all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to departure from the dock.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard.
• Assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift and climb.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Must be available to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Pay

Compensation is determined based on various factors including skills, experience, and the needs of the business. Participation in a discretionary incentive program may also be available.
