Yard Jockey - Beverages

About the role

Move and stage trailers safely and efficiently to keep the yard and docks running on schedule. Location: Nashville, TN. On-the-Job Training: Learn the role through hands-on and classroom training. High Energy Workplace: On the go for most of the day in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment that involves lifting, bending, and moving product throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Jockey trailers under direction of the supervisor/foreman and perform other assigned duties
• Prepare for the day by completing required vehicle checks (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift (if applicable)
• Move trailers from the lot to dock doors and back to the lot as directed; reposition raw material loads to doors as needed
• Install and remove trailer stands as necessary and follow all site and safety rules
• When loading is needed: review BOLs, complete final certification for outbound loads, wrap partial pallets, and process paperwork in NIS (or turn in to the supervisor)

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. Drivers License
• Valid CDL { } License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position may include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying between 20 and 50 lbs. throughout the shift (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires non-traditional shifts and weekend work
