About the role
The Opportunity: This position is a stepping‑stone toward management, offering exposure to all aspects of receiving, unloading, and loading operations within a warehouse facility. You will work independently or in teams with minimal supervision, maintain direct contact with customers and delivery personnel, and oversee a specified area to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre‑shift meetings
- Perform stretching exercises before each shift
- Conduct safety observations
- Support management and provide coaching
- Deliver training and maintain communication with leadership
- Perform all yard‑marshalling duties
- Handle movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers or other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
Requirements
- High‑energy individual with a strong work ethic; fast‑paced and physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift and carry 25–75 lb (materials handled vary)
- Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
