Yard Facilitator, Rental

About the role

This position is responsible for inspecting, washing, and preparing equipment for shop returns from rentals. It also involves loading and unloading trucks, scanning rental equipment during delivery and return processes, inspecting returned equipment for damage, and processing associated paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wash, and prepare equipment for shop returns from rentals
• Maintain a neat and safe work area
• Load and unload trucks
• Scan rental equipment during delivery and return processes
• Inspect returned equipment for damage and complete proper documentation
• Process and maintain associated paperwork
• Assist with other related duties as requested

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in loading, unloading, and transportation of construction equipment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• PC experience with MS Excel, Word, and general computer literacy
• Multi-tasking, good communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Must be flexible during peak seasons and willing to work overtime
• Occasional local travel may be required to transport equipment

Skills

• Physical demands: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs
• Work environment: outside, shop, warehouse, continuous exposure to elements of weather
• Equipment: safety glasses or side shields required when needed
• Noise levels: moderate to high in the shop/warehouse

Pay

$23.25 - $26.08 per hour USD

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with some Saturdays)
