Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the eating period and free-day period at noon recess.

Requirements

• Experience: Supervision of children through youth or service organizations such as scouts, church school classes, recreational groups, etc., is desirable.
• Education: Equivalent to high school education.
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Positions are exempt from the regular classified service; employed as needed on a part‑time hourly basis for short working hours on school days only; no permanency, step increases, or fringe benefits; paid on variable payroll.
• Physical Requirements: Vision to observe students; ability to stand for extended periods, run, walk, stoop, and bend; hearing and speaking to exchange information.
• Hazards: Adverse weather conditions; potential physical hazards involved in intervening in antisocial behavior.
• Upon Conditional Offer: DOJ and FBI criminal background check; TB test within 60 days of hire; complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment training, etc.

Pay

$18.93 per hour

Work months: 9.5; Hours: 3.25 hours per day, 5 days per week
