YARD DRIVER CLASS A

Candidates must have at least 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive a gas- or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination to move trailers and containers from door to door within the yard (no over-the-road driving).
• Move trailers from door to door using a company software program.
• Open and close trailer doors when making moves.
• Update moves made throughout the shift via company software.
• Work with other drivers to complete moves efficiently.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure truck safety.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• DOT medical certification.
• Clean driving record (no speeding 15+ mph over limit, no DUI or criminal history).
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• Must pass a yard test.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Pay

$28.50 per hour (anticipated starting rate; may be adjusted based on market conditions, location, and other factors).

Schedule

Sunday–Wednesday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM.
