Responsibilities
- Moving trailers from our yard to a distribution point just 3 miles away.
- Spotting inbound & outbound trailers.
- Ensuring sufficient equipment is available for customer needs.
- Communicating with drivers on load requirements.
- Providing excellent customer service to our Prime drivers and customers.
- Performing additional work-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 3rd shift availability may be necessary for this position.
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 6 months of experience hauling a 53-ft trailer OTR within the last two years.
- Valid CDL with six months of CDL A experience and a clean driving record.
- Pass a DOT physical prior to being hired.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.
- Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required.
- Multitasking and a flexible schedule required.
