Yard Attendant

Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a full‑time Yard Attendant for our Palmyra, Maine location.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform heavy lifting as required.

Requirements

• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Clean and valid driver’s license preferred.
